Carrots!

"Oh yeah, mom, I like carrots. They're crunchy!"

Two and 1/2 years I have been putting carrots on my sons plate. And for two and 1/2 years I have heard all kinds of responses from "NO!" to "I'm 'lergic to carrots."

I am cleaning up dinner tonight and I hear this crunch, crunch, from Parker who is still working on his dinner. Yes I put the carrots on his plate but really didn't expect him to eat them.

So apparently now, no big deal to him, He really likes the orange and especially crisp veggie.

I feel successful as a mom today. I've been persistant and it has paid off.
Here's to carrots, good moms and adorable lil' boys who are full of suprises, ususally not so good, but today exceptional!

Chalk it up as one small victory for a mom!! and alot of martyred carrots stix!
