ZZZZZZ.......

Catching a few winks, a cat nap, a siesta, call it what you want but a "brief bout of sleep" is about the best thing ever to me lately. I get an hour for lunch. So I eat a bite in about 15 minutes, and then shut off the lights, close my office door, stretch out on my plastic yard chair lounger, and take a 30 minute doze.

Sometimes I sleep, sometimes I just relax. I can't tell you how this reenergizes me. I read an article that adults who take a mid day nap perform better in critical thinking skills and job performance.

Today, we rush, rush, rush through the day. Having that break, that 30 minutes to myself, is so refreshing to me. I feel as if I'm in a better mood and nicer to those around me.

Further in the article that I read about midday naps, adults did not have any trouble sleeping at night. We all need so many hours of sleep, according to the article, when we get them doesn't matter.

So good bye to stressful lunch, and welcome to "nighty night". Good Day and Good Night!
