On life's highway, you will always find my family whizzing by in the fast lane. This week is no different. Monday night, I raced home from work, picked up the kids from their after school program, and sped home. Ok kids.... we have exactly forty two minutes to practice piano, do homework, complete your bible studies, eat dinner and grab some toys before we are off to the church for a meeting.
My blessed friend Juelye had a meeting from 615 to 700 and I had a meeting from 700 to 800 at the church. Great plan, I'll watch your kids, then you watch mine. She's awesome like that!
So now my children have two hours that need to be filled! Around our house, every minute is scheduled, sadly. Jessalyn had some extra homework so she brought that. But wait! We have to have valentine boxes to school by Wednesday. I found a super cute cut out template online, wrapped some boxes in some left over gift paper and put them to work. They turned out pretty darn cute! Now, they won't be the cutest boxes as school, but most of the work was done by the kids. The kids loved them and I was glad to have one more thing checked off the to do list. I included a link on the title of today's post, so you can use the templates too. You can print them in color or black/white and let your kids color them.
The meetings went well. The kids went home with their dad and surprisingly were in bed at a decent hour. I went on to the hospital to spend some time with Shannon and Kadyn.
Today's hectic schedule - Piano Lessons, Basketball Practice times two, and six hours of class for me. Sounds like another minute by minute day!
Hope you find some peace today in your hectic schedule - and if you need a valentine box- check out the link!
