Custard Filled Baked Apples

Jess and I have been hooked to the local phenomena of www.pinterest.com - however today we got a little creative and went out on our own.  The result Custard Filled Baked Apples.  Here's the recipe we followed for the custard.


‎1 1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 eggs (beaten)
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk

We hollowed the apples, filled them with the custard mixture and then baked them for 450 for 10 mins then 350 for 30 mins or until custard is firm.
