Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
**Last week, I heard something on the radio that triggered my mental gears. An analogy was given that if the universe was the size of a football field, the entire Milky Way Galaxy would fit into a coffee cup, leaving the Earth a spec of dust.
**Being a sceptic, I searched the Internet for the source of this visual picture. Without luck, I did find some other sources that make similar comparisons, so I'll stick with the analogy. The specifics of course aren't explicitly necessary for my following thought.
**As I thought about how incredibly huge the universe is, I then pondered, how big God must be. Little me, is but a spec on a spec of dust. And looking how big and powerful God must be, why do I worry about my life. He has complete control.
**I found a lot of comfort in dwelling on the magnitude of our God. Someday I too will be past this Earth, past the galaxy and even past this universe. I wonder if I will look down on the little spec of dust called Earth and laugh at all the things I consumed my nervous anxiety and fear on. Can you believe that I was so concerned about those tiny issues, I might question.
**God really is bigger. He's bigger than anything you are fearing. Call on Him and His strength. In comparison, your composition is a mere grit of matter. But God knows you and isn't it even more amazing that he even knows the number of hairs on your head. Let His strength and power overcome your fear. Rely on Him. There is no one or no thing more omnipotent than our GOD.

Thank you, darling daughter, for reminding me that God is in control and not to worry about the little stuff that seems so big to us here on Earth. He can handle it all. Love ya, Mom
