Being a parent myself, I know the difficulty in keeping your children healthy and safe. Media, research and anecdotal information guide us in everything from what to serve at dinner to the type of sunblock we use. Millions of decisions are required during our children's growing up in providing the best for their emotional, physical, sexual and behavioral health. Making the right decisions can be very difficult.
Another lofty decision may very well be at your doorstep. I want to help clarify any misinformation that you might be exposed to.
Jenny McCarthy with celebrity boyfriend Jim Carey headlined a rally at the US Capitol to raise awareness regarding the dangers of vaccines. Unfortunately, many parents will regard the pleas of actors and actresses over the proof in the scientific community. If you are swayed by the dramatic explorations, please check your sources and get proven research before putting your child as risk by delaying or abstaining vaccinations. Jenny and Jim will pluck your heartstrings, but let the leading physicians and researchers spur your mind to keep your children safe. For more information on the truth of vaccines, check out these many reliable sources.

Here's a great resource for parents who want to TRUTH about Vaccines. It's called the "Vaccine Safety Manual: For Concerned Families and Health Care Practioners" by Neil Z. Miller.
In your blog, you say to find information from "researchers". Do you mean the ones that are paid by Vaccine Manufactorers? Or independent research that links vaccines to autism and other neurological disorders?
You can't send parents to only pro-vaccine sites, when there is valid research proving how harmful vaccines are to our children.
Thanks for you comments, anonymous.
The Centers for Disease Control IS a non bias entity, not paid by vaccine manufacturers. As well as the FDA, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Family Practitioners, who adamently recommend vaccines.
When reviewing research, not only should you look at who funds the research, but also the size of the tested population and the methodology. Most research that shows even a small coorelation is flawed in some area.
No one makes money off vaccine. In fact, the state of Oklahoma is considering massive budget overhauls to keep the vaccine program for children afloat. Doctors don't often carry vaccine, because they lose money on the deal.
Picking a side of this issue is just like choosing your religion or political party. Once you pick one, you'll rarely sway to the other side.
