it's been a busy weekend ...
friday - celebrated Parent's Day with the Children First Program at Southwood Baptist Church; through the afternoon had all the neighborhood kids plus two in and out of our home; nearly two hour softball practice with Jess; evening my friend, Gwen and her two boys came over so her husband could finish a surprise construction of a play fort in the back yard (shhh! it's still a surprise)
saturday - cleaned house and yard, met a friend and her daughter for dinner; did some quick target clearance shopping and then went and saw "fiddler on the roof" at Mingo Valley Christian School; Devon kept a friend's daughter while they went to a benefit auction and while we were at the play; jess's friend slept over
sunday - the usual, sunday school and church; luncheon after church; took donation to Goodwill and went to Bearlee New Consignment to drop off some gently used clothing; finished laundry & fixed some dinner; back to church for kids' choir and musical rehearsal; home with friend's boys since she had to go out of state for a funeral and her husband and mine were with the youth at an event
so that brings us to now... :) 10:31 PM
1 hr and 29 minutes from monday and a few moments of me time
sorry to disappoint but now i can't think of one clever thing to say, except I love my friends, i love my family, and i loved my time at home this weekend; hope my week lends me more time to post worthwhile reading - have a great week
