Friday and Saturday Jessalyn, Parker and I joined my Mom and Grandmother in the great city of Muskogee to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Azalea Festival. Despite the wind and chilly weather we had a great time.

The city hosted a nice parade down Broadway where the kids made a killing on candy and treats. Grandma, mom and I enjoyed the chili kickoff with spicy flavors simmered down with some cold beverages. Alongside the Chili strip was a kid's festival filled with inflatable games, pony rides, and a play set of tunnels and balls. The sun came out later and warmed us up.
Of course our trip to Muskogee could not be complete without shopping at Wall's, mom and my favorite closeout store. Grandma even got in on the action as we pushed her around in the shopping cart wheelchair.
The weekend proved to be tiring but enjoyable. Muskogee is a great city with lots to see especially with the Azalea Festival throughout the month of April. The Renaissance Festival during the month of May will most likely be our next trip to Muskogee.
Hope all of you had a great weekend as well! Have a great Monday!
