**Ring, Ring**
Devon: Hello.
Man: This is the Broken Arrow Police Department. Is everything ok there?
Devon: Yes....
Man: We received a 911 call from this number.
Devon: oh no .... *sigh*
Man: We could not distinguish the voice on the phone, are you sure everything is ok?
Devon: yes, sir. I'm so sorry. Thank you for calling.
Man: No problem.
Devon: Thanks again.
Devon: Parker!
Parker: What?
Devon: Where you playing with mommy's phone?
Parker: *with hesitance* yes...
Devon: Did you call 911?
Parker: *tears beginning to fall*
Devon: The police called ...
Parker: *more tears*
Devon: 911 is for emergencies only ...
All this was proceeded with more tears and lots of hugs to reassure Parker his "practice" 911 call can only be used for emergencies. Oh life with a five year old is fun!
However, the phone call doesn't quite compare to the time he pulled the fire alarm at my office and we had to evacuate the entire building while the fire department did a walk through of the building. :)
